DOG PORTRAITS
Custom dog portraits, painted by hand.
An original painting of your dog, made from your photo and finished with the kind of detail that makes people stop and look.
Any breed. Any size. Anywhere in the world.
The dog, not just the breed.
A retriever is not just a retriever, and your dog is not just their breed. I paint the individual - the freckle on the nose, the one floppy ear, the look they give you at the door. From farm dogs to lap dogs, every portrait is hand-painted, one of one, and made only for you.
In celebration, & in memory.
Some dog portraits are gifts - a birthday surprise, a new puppy, a dog who has been by your side for years. Many are memorials, painted to keep a dog who has gone.
I handle both with the same care, and the memorial portraits with extra gentleness. If your dog has passed and you only have one imperfect photo, that is enough. I will work with you.

The likeness lives in your reference image, so the clearer it is, the better. Send the sharpest photo you have, ideally one where you can see the light in the eyes. Where the photo is low resolution, a small surcharge may apply, as I have to do more work to fill the gaps.
