Not just a dog, he was family.
Hudson holds a special place in my heart as I actually grew up with this handsome old boy x
Hudson was a classic golden retriever, everything you could ever want in a family dog: loyal, calm, loving and undeniably adorable. The softest soul you would ever meet.
My parents brought Hudson home when I was at highschool. They had originally wanted to get a little girl, however Hudson was the only puppy not accounted for when they got there. After a week of falling in love with this big smoosh, the breeders called my mum to let her know that one of the girls was now available and she could switch the puppies if she wanted. Not a chance. If you know anything about my family and our love for animals, this will come as no surprise - we ended up with two adorable golden retriever puppies.
The two spent their whole lives together, and while we lost Willow (his sister) many years ago now, Hudson remained the center of our family into my late 20's. This gorgeous boy is so dearly missed.
